Rihanna "RiRiheartMAC" Fall Makeup Collection Coming Soon.

Pop Star Rihanna is set to release her new fall make up collection next month. The RiRiheartMAC collection includes lipstick in four colors including the infamous RiRi Woo as well as a lip gloss to match. An eye shadow palette, bronzer and mascara are also part of the RiRiheartMAC collection which ranges between $16.00 and $45.00 a piece. The official release date of the RiRihearMAC collection is set for October 3, 2013 and items can be purchased through the MAC website or at store locations.

Tamar Braxton Enters the Billboard 200 Charts at Number 2.

Love & War, previously released on September 3, 2013 has officially reached number 2 on the Billboard 200 charts following closely behind Ariana Grandes' debut album, Yours Truly which came in at number 1. The success of her sophomore album coupled with recent premier of her second season on the show, Tamar and Vince, marks September 2013 to be a great month for her over all. Hot 97 DJ Mister Cee Officially Resigns. ***Updated*** He's Back.

This morning Hip Hop's legendary radio DJ, Mister Cee has officially resigned from Hot 97. Over the years there has been much controversy surrounding the sexuality of Mister Cee. The Brooklyn, New York native first began his career in the music industry during the 1980's when he started DJ'ing for Big Daddy Kane. Later on during the 1990's, Calvin LeBrun better known as Mister Cee also produced two albums for the late Notorious B.I.G. On several occasions, Mister Cee was arrested for soliciting men and was given warning by his employers to cease illegal activity. Today Mister Cee has been caught red handed again when allegedly, a man being solicited by him captured the incident on a cell phone and posted the footage online.  In his most recent years, the New York DJ remained relevant by working the air waves for Hot 97 from which he has now officially resigned.

As of 12 p.m. today, September 12, 2013, Mister Cee is back on the air waves at Hot 97 in New York. After making an official apology live on the radio, the programmers at the radio station have agreed to keep Mister Cee on the station roster. Listen to his interview here:

Female Rapper Puts Jay-Z and Nicki Minaj on Blast!

Upcoming female rapper, Liv, claims that the married Hip Hop Mogul Jay-Z propositioned her and that Nicki Minaj slept her way to the top. The recent allegations made by Liv during a radio interview on PNC radio are scandalous and heavy considering that Jay-Z is married to Beyoncé Knowles who recently gave birth their first born child. During the interview, Liv claims that the music mogul attempted to make a side arrangement with her to meet up when he's in town and that Nicki Minaj performed sexual favors for Lil Wayne on the tour bus to secure her position on YMCMB. Previously, Liv released a diss record aimed at Nicki Minaj which went viral on the internet.

R&B Diva's LA Reunion to be Hosted by Wendy Williams!

The self proclaimed "queen of media", Wendy Williams is scheduled to host the two part R&B Diva's LA reunion special. The first season of the show starring Lil Mo, Kelly Price, Chante Moore, Claudette Ortiz, Dawn Robinson and Michel'le topped the Atlanta version making R&B Diva's LA the highest rated show on TV ONE in the first week of airing! Season one has been interesting but even more so we're interested to see the controversial radio and television host, Wendy Williams, bring the best out of the diva's during the reunion. The two part R&B Diva's reunion special airs September 4, 2013 at 10 pm and September 11, 2013 at 10 pm. Will you be watching?

Picasso Baby: A Performance Art Film Starring Jay-Z!

World class rapper, Shawn Carter better known as Jay-Z recently released a short film starring him and directed by Mark Romanek. The production which debuted on HBO this weekend is an 11 minute film highlighting his 6 hour long performance held at a local New York art gallery. Recently, Jay-Z released his 15th studio album Magna Carta Holy Grail which features the song "Picasso Baby" on the track list. For the last few weeks, Magna Carta has been topping the charts.

Flo' from Bad Girls Club All Star Battle Arrested!

Thirty year old Florina Kaja  ,better known as Flo, was busted for attempting to illegally fill a Methocodone prescription at a CVS pharmacy in New York. Allegedly, Flo checked herself into a hospital under an alias name the day before being arrested. Witnesses say that on the day of the incident, Kaja wore the hospital bracelet to the pharmacy in an effort to mislead the technician into filling the prescription. An anonymous caller contacted the police immediately and law enforcement was able to apprehend Florina Kaja and one other accomplice outside the CVS in the parking lot. Flo is known for her appearance in BGC season 4 along side her cast mate,  Natalie Nunn. Most recently, Flo competed on BGC Allstar Battle for $100,000 but did not win unfortunately.

MAC Discontinues Nicki Minaj Lipstick

Top make-up company, MAC Cosmetics, has discontinued the Viva Glam Nicki 1 and Viva Glam Nicki 2 lipstick colors. The Nicki Minaj inspired pink lipstick came in two shades and proceeds from both were donated to helping victims of HIV and AIDS. This month will be the last in which MAC make-up counters will stock the colors and Viva Glam Nicki 1 and 2 will no longer be on sale in stores after August. Reportedly, the contract between Nicki Minaj and Mac Cosmetics has run the course. Time is up and there's no word of a renewal of contract at this time.

Fashion Friday: Emily B. Gives a Sneak Peak of New Shoe Line.

Love & Hip Hop NY star and fashion stylist, Emily Bustamante revealed a first look at her new shoe collection via Instagram. The leathery knee-high boots are classic with a twist of extravagance. The metallic gold plated toe and gold toned ankle chain lend the first shoe of the Emily B. collection a lavish look. Both the black and crème colored options can be dressed up for a classier look or dressed down for an edgier look depending on the occasion. No word on the official release date of the shoe collection but be sure to look out for more sneak peaks coming soon.

K. Michelle Leaves Love & Hip Hop!

R&B singer, K. Michelle is officially leaving the cast of Love & Hip Hop ATL and moving to the "The Big Apple". During the last episode of the season, K. Michelle announced to the other cast mates that's she's moving to New York. In the beginning of season one, Kimberly Michelle joined the show as an attempt to help jump start her singing career. Now, at the end of season two of Love and Hip Hop ATL, K Michelle is doing well, she's in love and her career is flourishing. There's talk of the possibility of her joining the New York cast as well as word that she may have her own spin off show. Of course music is her first priority and which ever way the tide turns we will most likely be hearing more of K. Michelle. Her debut album , Rebellious Soul, comes out this August 13th and the reunion of Love and Hip Hop ATL is coming up soon.

Miami Heat Player Ordered to Hand Over Children to Ex-Wife

NBA superstar, Dwayne Wade has been ordered by a judge to hand over their two sons to his ex-wife Siohvaughn Funches. Zaire and Zion, ages 9 and 4, were withheld from seeing their mother when an emergency motion to keep Siovaughn Funches away from the children was filed in the court system by Wade. Previously, the Miami Heat player failed to make alimony payments to his ex-wife which left Funches in a financial bind. Leading up to the filing of the motion, Siohvaughn Funches was spotted in downtown Chicago holding a sign and blasting Wade for his alleged wrong doings against her which may have been the reason for Wade filing in court. In his request, Wade asked the judge to demand Funches have a psychological evaluation which the Judge later denied. In a separate ruling, Wade was ordered to pay Funches $5 million dollars and now to give back the children to his ex wife for visitation.

Rhianna Wins Again: Judge Rules in Her Favor

Pop icon, Rhianna has won her case in the $5 million dollar lawsuit against the British retailer called Top Shop. The owners of Top Shop, Arcadia Brands Limited, have been ordered to cease the sale of the fashion T-Shirt which has the face of Rhianna across the front of the garment. According to reports, Rhianna did not endorse nor approve the use of her image by the British retailers which some customers might have believed at the point of purchase. The total cost of this mix up will cost the owners of Top Shop up to $5 million dollars although the exact amount hasn't been ruled, yet. As we know, Rhianna has a clothing line of her own called River Island which is currently not stocked at Top Shop. The unauthorized use of her image could potentially be a conflict of interest for the singing fashionista.

Hair Stylist puts Foxy Brown on Blast! Claims rapper owes $900 for Hair Do'.

Hip Hop veteran, Inga Marchand better known as Foxy Brown is being accused of failure to pay for the services of a popular New York hair stylist named G Star. According to the plaintiff, the rapper sought out her services for a dyed and sewn in weave hair style to wear during the annual Hot 97 Summer Jam where Foxy was supposed to perform live on stage with fellow rap veteran, NAS.



While she did make it to the Summer Jam concert, Foxy was late so she didn't get to perform as scheduled that evening. How ever sources say that the raptress did manage to flaunt the hairstyle which allegedly she claimed to love. The stylist tried numerous times to contact Foxy Brown to collect her payment of $900 but unfortunately she wasn't able to be paid. According to G Star, she was told by Foxy to "contact her manager" via Instagram. Shortly there after, a police report was filed by the stylist after Foxy refused to make payment or return calls.

Publicity Stunt 101: Dj Khaled Marriage Proposal Update. New Song Released.

On July 29, 2013, DJ Khaled released a new song called "I Wanna Be With You" featuring Nicki Minaj and Rick Ross. Ordinarily, the new music would be celebrated and appreciated by fans all over. However, the release of the new song is strangely ironic considering that DJ Khaled practically spilled his heart out to Nicki Minaj live on MTV News earlier this week while asking the her hand in marriage. During his proposal, DJ Khaled confessed how much he wanted to be with Nicki Minaj as he showed the camera a diamond ring which he claimed is worth $50,000. The marriage proposal was like a fairy tale come true.

Mixtape Alert: Lil Kim Tweets a Preview of New Mixtape cover

In Hip Hop news, Rapper, Lil' Kim gives twitter followers a hint at the possible release of new mix-tape. According to her twitter account, the title of this new project is HARDCORE2013 Back 2 Da Streetz. Earlier this week, the Queen Bee tweeted:

"#HARDCOREMIXTAPE BACK 2 DA STREETZ #TeamLilKim I love all my fans!!!!! ❤❤❤"



Kimberly Jones also known as Notorious K.I.M. or Lil' Kim included a picture of the mix-tape cover which resembles the cover of her 1996 double platinum album, Hardcore.


No official release date for the new project has been announced, yet. At the height of her career, Lil' Kim was dubbed the queen of rap so for her remaining fans this new work is much anticipated. Could this be her comeback?

Keyshia Cole's Husband Arrested!

NBA player, Daniel "Boobie" Gibson, turned himself in to the New Orleans Police Department where he's been charged with assault and battery. Allegedly, the incident leading up to the assault charges against Gibson occurred earlier this year.  According to reports, the arrest happened this morning around 11:00 a.m. but since then Gibson has been released. Besides playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers, many of us know Daniel "Boobie" Gibson from the reality show Keyshia & Daniel: Family First which gives viewers a glimpse inside his marriage to the R&B Songstress. Gibson and Cole got together in 2009 and were married in 2011. Together they have one son.

Midwest rapper, Nelly, has released a new song called "Get Like Me" off his upcoming album M.O.
The single featuring Pharell and Nicki Minaj was released on June 2 and the video for the song was shot on June 26, 2013. The finished product isn't released yet. Luckily, there's behind the scene footage available to give listeners a glimpse of the much anticipated video for "Get Like Me". The Braxtons: Toni Loses Song Rights. Tamar Annouces Album Release Date.

Legendary R&B singer, Toni Braxton has lost the rights to a large portion of her music catalogue due to the auctioning off of more than have a dozen of her songs. According to reports, Toni was offered the privilege of buying back the song rights but unfortunately she was outbid by a another buyer. The price of that sale was $20,000 which includes the rights to more than twenty four Toni Braxton songs. Earlier this month, her bankruptcy case was settled so the auctioning of her music was not completely unforeseen for Toni. Included on the auctioned off song list are her hit songs, "You're Makin Me High" and "How Many Ways".

 

 

Meanwhile, the "lucky" sister, Tamar Braxton is gearing up to release her newest album titled Love and War which includes the hit singles  "The One" and the "Love and War". Other songs that are scheduled to be on the album are titled "Hot Sugar" and "Get Your Life". The official release date for Tamar Braxton's new album, Love and War, is September 3, 2013. This week in Hip Hop News,  Miami rapper, DJ Khaled  proposed marriage to the YMCMB rapper Nicki Minaj live on MTV news. Word on the street is that allegedly, DJ Khaled is already engaged to a young lady by the name of Nicole Tuck.

 Publicity stunt, much? Regardless, fellow Miami rapper, Rick Ross gives DJ Khaled his blessings. Right.

DMX: Locked Up

Rap legend, Earl Simmons better know as DMX has been arrested (again). Allegedly, on Friday July 19, 2013 around 3 a.m., Simmons was pulled over by the Highway Patrol and taken into custody at the Greenville County Detention Center in South Carolina where he currently resides. Thankfully, he was released from the jail on that same morning. Hopefully he can stay out for good this time. This latest arrest brings the count to over a dozen arrest on his record. 



Prior to this most recent arrest in July, there was one back in February 2013; beginning of this year.
